Library Class Schedule
We see all students weekly
All Howard County Elementary School Librarians see each student weekly for either a half hour (K, 3rd, 4th) or one hour (1st, 2nd, 5th) media lesson that includes instruction and time to check out books. Please see your student's Homeroom teacher's schedule for what color Related Arts day they visit the library. Or just ask your child when they have Media, they probably know!
Red Day; Orange Day; Yellow Day; Green Day; Blue Day
I have planning at different times each day in which I also take a half hour lunch break. This usually affords me the flexibility I need to meet with staff and assess their needs for the upcoming days and weeks. I also get at least 30 minutes for planning each day but these times vary. During planning time I often gather materials for lessons, pull books for teachers and student projects and shelve books. Please email me or stop by so we can coordinate time to talk if you have a specific request.
