Each year funds are allocated for Library Media materials depending on how many students are enrolled. Each school’s allocation for this account becomes available at the beginning of the fiscal year (July). Our projected enrollment for 2022-23 is approximately 410 students. All purchases made from this fund must be made by entering a Workday purchase requisition.

The library media materials funds are intended to be used for books and other materials for use by students during the school year in which the funds are allocated. Library media specialists are encouraged to spend the funds as early as possible in the school year.

If we get $8 per student, we will receive (8*410) $3,280.

As playaway audio books are expensive, I will purchase fewer of these, but still find them valuable.
