Actively Learn - how to video and lesson ideas.

A deeper dive into how much Actively Learn can do!

This website has Assignments ready to go for your students with just one click of a button. To learn more and get introduced to the site, watch my "how-to" video below or here.

If you want to read along, check out my script.

The assignment previewed AASL Standards V.A.1, V.A.2 and V.A.3. Students are encouraged to read about a topic they are interested in, video games, and reflect on different views about societal pressure and parental influence on video game play. While doing this students (1) “develop and satisfy personal curiosity by reading widely and deeply in multiple formats and write and create for a variety of purposes” (AASL). They (2) reflect and question “assumptions and possible misconceptions” during this reading and (3) engage in “inquiry-based processes for personal growth” (AASL).

ISTE Educator Standards I focused on:

6a. Foster a culture where students take ownership of their learning goals and outcomes in both independent and group settings.

6b. Manage the use of technology and student learning strategies in digital platforms, virtual environments, hands-on makerspaces or in the field.
